After you learn kite control on the beach with our patient and detailed system, then its time for the water. Does your instructor put on a wetsuit and help you in the ocean, or will he send you out there in the ocean all by yourself? Our Belmont Shore Kiteschool is in Long Beach CA See MAP
There is just one beach in the Los Angeles and Orange County Area where Kitesurfing Lessons are allowed. This in in Long Beach at Belmont Shore (see photo below). Due to the breakwall there are no waves and flat water and lots of open sand. We operate 7 days a week March-Oct at this location. It's a great spot with a big kite community and comraderie. Join in the SoCal fun!
